Selected from only three oak sherry casks from Spain, a mere 366 bottles of The Macallan 1948 have been released - a truly collectible treasure. Each bottle and accompanying certificate bears a unique date, corresponding to one of the 366 days of 1948, a leap year. Certificates have been individually signed by David Robertson, Whisky Maker and Macallan Nose. The whisky possesses a remarkable character, imbued with an unusual phenolic note accompanying the rich, spicy, resinous, fruit character which typifies The Macallan.
